Fundraising for Vibha Striders 2020 Master Fundraiser

Each time I watch this pic, it makes me realize that we are so privileged in so many ways. The least we can do is do our share to bring joy to others. I joined this group - Vibha, early this year to do my part. You can support me in a very simple way. Help me raise money for Vibha. 95+% percent of this charity goes straight to India for the school children.  You don't have to donate a lot to make a difference. A mere $50 can make a big difference in a child's life. And I am embarking on an attempt to make a difference in my own way. "I take the pain, you take the gain" will be my motto as I enlist your help in raising funds, this time for Vibha. So please join me and help me contribute to this worthy cause. I promise to give my all and pull through on my commitment. After joining this program this Feb, I have worked hard to improve my life condition by taking up Running & Biking. Over the past few months, I have run upwards of 200+ Miles and biked for 650+ Miles and plan to continue on this journey. 

Here are some of my upcoming Targets that I have set for myself. 

- July: Run for 50+ Miles (Current Status: July 23rd: 74.8 Miles completed)
- Aug: Run for 70+ Miles
- September: Run 80+ Miles 

While I set these targets for myself, I am very careful not to over do and cause myself unnecessary injury of any kind. I am following a very well structured training program led by expert coaches. If you are looking to make a change, I would highly encourage you to look into this program as well (Vibha).

Vibha Striders 2020 is raising funds to help address the problem of education of underprivileged children through Vibha's projects.

Vibha is committed to bringing together both the public and private sector to strengthen infrastructure and provide mechanisms for sustainable access to education. Through Vibha's model of seed, scale, and grow, our projects, as an example, have helped expand public education programs from 15 to 43,000 schools in one state in India. As a result, this success has now become the template to expand to other states.

As Vibha Striders, we believe that moulding young minds will give them the freedom to choose a better life. Every mile we run and every dollar we raise, is another massive step to helping these kids achieve their dreams.

Vibha educates, enables and empowers, individuals who wish to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged children. Since our inception in 1991, Vibha has supported more than 250 projects in India and 10 projects in the US. As a result, Vibha has been able to reach out to and provide opportunities for over 2.3 million underprivileged children. Currently, Vibha supports 15 projects in India and 3 projects in the US.
