$650k - Partnered with Texas Instruments and Govt. of Karnataka to set up a 100-bed modular hospital in Bengaluru
1100 oxygen concentrators procured. First batch distributed to Ambedkarnagar (UP), Meerut (UP), Srungavarapukota (AP), Beed (Maharashtra), Bengaluru (Karnataka), Beawar (Rajasthan)
25k PPE kits, 240k masks and 180k gloves procured
Vaccination clinics in planning
We are reaching out to thousands of families with immediate food and medical assistance to the impacted communities. Some examples below:
Door Step School (Pune) - We are working with our partner organization Door Step School in Pune, Maharashtra to provide the relief in the following areas:
Food grains for app. 300 families from temporary slums. May be sufficient for a month or two. Working closely with parents/families of our children for their vaccination (basically, registering them online, coordinating with vaccination center etc.)
Vaccination awareness drives in communities.
Coordinating with COVID-19 affected persons/families for medical assistance, connecting affected families with available helplines
Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal (Ajmer, Rajasthan) - The Ajmer city is currently in lockdown. We are planning to start response activities after 3rd of May. We will be working with our partner organization RMKM in Ajmer Rajasthan to provide the relief efforts in the following areas:
Daily needs kit (ration) will help to survive for 15 to 20 days for the unit of 5 members family. This kit will be provided only to identified and most needed families who have lost their wages due to the lockdown. The kit will include 10kg Flour, 1kg Mix dal, 1 kg oil, 1 kg sugar, 1kg salt, 250gm tea, 100gm turmeric, 100gm chili powder, 2 lifebuoy soaps and masks as per family members.
Leap For Word : Working with our partner Leap For Word, to get medicines required in PMC, Rohini (Shirpur), Nasik, Maharashtra to treat people with clinical symptoms of COVID 19.
