Breathe India, Save India!

Fundraising for Save Lives, Save India

India is facing a dangerous surge in new COVID-19 infections since April 2021 as a result of the second wave of the pandemic. As we all know, the mutant virus is causing devastating deaths beyond one's comprehension where people are dying due to the lack of medical supplies not limited to oxygen concentrators, ventilators, ICU beds, etc. Many of these deaths are preventable but yet NOT preventable due to the severe lack of supplies. It is overwhelming that the already weak healthcare system of the nation is leaving many families with no medical assistance, causing immense stress on health care, cremation ground and other frontline workers. The lockdowns are impacting the livelihoods and basic food supplies for millions of families.

Vibha, a completely volunteer-driven global non-profit organization founded in the USA has been supporting the lives of underprivileged children by providing better health and education opportunities in India and the US since its inception in 1991. As a result, Vibha has been able to provide opportunities for over 2.3 million underprivileged children. Additionally, Vibha always steps up to support the need of the hour during emergencies such as  natural disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, etc.

Currently, Vibha has stepped up to to the need of the hour to mitigate the ongoing unprecendented COVID-19 crisis in India with a pledge to send $1,000,000 or more of support in the form of medical and food supplies, setting up vaccination clinics, etc. 100% of the tax deductible donation goes towards the cause, and as a Vibha volunteer I earnestly request you to donate as little or as much as you can towards mitigating this crisis in India. Vibha's global COVID-19 task force team has been working round the clock with its project partners in India with respect to planning, logistics and execution of the operations on the ground in India.
