Fundraising for Save Lives, Save India

Hello REI, 

India is facing an overwhelming health emergency of unprecedented proportions, with new COVID cases drastically rising daily and devastating mortality rates.  As these tragic events continue to affect India, many of our employees have family members, friends and loved ones directly impacted.  India's hospitals and medical facilities across the country are beyond capacity, and oxygen supplies are critically low. 

REI Cares!  Now through May 31st, REI will match all employee donations to Vibha, dollar for dollar.  Vibha is helping provide food and hygiene kits for families, oxygen concentrators to hospitals and working to set up vaccination centers.  You can learn more about their efforts, below.

As Shyam mentioned in his recent email, we are all in this together, and when there is a challenge for any of us, there is a response from all of us.

Vibha educates, enables and empowers, individuals who wish to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged children. Since our inception in 1991, Vibha has supported more than 250 projects in India and 10 projects in the US. As a result, Vibha has been able to reach out to and provide opportunities for over 2.3 million underprivileged children. Currently, Vibha supports 15 projects in India and 3 projects in the US.
