I feel that everyone has an inherent need to be part of something bigger than themself. Something that connects them to others, and at the same time adds value to the entire society. I am very thankful for Vibha for giving me the opportunity to fulfil this need within myself. Over the last 11 years of my journey with Vibha, I have been part of this large family, spanning various continents, with hundreds of volunteers and social workers working towards the common purpose of bringing a brighter future to children in need. 

I started my volunteering journey with Vibha in 2013 after moving to Bangalore. Since then I have been part of Vibha in various role like managing fund-raising events, leading the Bangalore action center, as part of the Projects team working directly with our ground staff, as the Director of Projects, and now as a part of the Vibha India Board. I am hopeful that in my small way, during this journey, I have also contributed to the society as a whole. These past years volunteering with Vibha have really shaped my own personality and outlook as well. In fact some of the skills which I have learnt would not have been possible without Vibha. 

I am super thankful to all my friends and family who have always been by my side supporting the work of Vibha by lending us their time and donating to our cause. Without you all, we can never do what we do!!!!

In this year's pledge, I again request you to support me as I stand with Vibha to bring a brighter future to more and more deserving children across India.
