Ashwini Kumar's Fundraiser to Transform Education in 50 Government Schools

Fundraising for Year End Drive 2024

Dear Friends, 

I have been a Vibha volunteer for nearly 16 years. Vibha is a volunteer-driven organization with the sole purpose of breaking up the cycle of poverty. How? - by transforming the public education system in India so that every child gets the opportunities he or she deserves. While Vibha has already impacted 4.8 Million children so far, hundreds of millions of children are still deprived of the opportunities they deserve.

In India, 131 Million children attend Government schools. Unfortunately, 70% of the children are not performing at their grade level. For example, 70% of children in Grade 5 cannot read, write or do basic math even at a Grade 2 level! 

$100 funds Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programs in 1 rural primary school for 1 year impacting 3 teachers and reaching children between the ages 5 and 10 yrs. 

$10 funds study tools, materials and programs for 1 child for 1 year. 

We have a long way to go, and we cannot do it without support from donors like you. I invite you to make a generous contribution towards my pledge drive to raise $5,000 to improve learning levels in 50 Government schools.
