Fundraising for Vibha Striders 2025

Running for a Cause to Empower Future Generations

Golden Gate Half Marathon ~ July 2023

Thank you so much for taking time to read this. As you know I was diagnosed with B cell Lymphoma and went through chemo therapy. All Glory be to God as He touched and healed me completely. I am in remission and my doctor gave me permission to power walk a Half Marathon. I have been an avid runner and have completed 85 half marathons, 9 full marathons and more than 100 5ks, 10ks, as well as other obstacles races like Spartan and Mud Runs. I wanted to be a part of Vibha training to help raise money for the children in India. We are all blessed so let's bless those who need them desperately. God bless you!

Help me empower children’s futures – donate today.

  • $50 Funds rehabilitation for a child with a learning disability
  • $100 Funds educational materials for five children
  • $200 Funds libraries with pictorial books in two villages
  • $500 Funds immunizations for 15 children
  • $1000 Funds a small education center for 37 children

Many companies offer matching donations—amplify your impact by submitting a matching gift request! Please let me know too, so I can add it to my fundraiser under your name.

Real Lives, Real Impact

Deepika’s Story

In the remote village of Chipurugondhi, ASR District of Andhra Pradesh, where opportunities are scarce, Deepika, a student of the local government school sat quietly in her classroom—determined yet full of unrecognized potential.

But sometimes, all it takes is one person to believe in you.

The Spark That Changed Everything

Deepika’s teacher, Hanumanth Rao introduced her to the Vibha-LeapForWord English Literacy Program (ELP)—an initiative designed to help students from regional language schools develop essential reading, spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.

With structured learning and mentorship, Deepika didn’t just learn—she thrived!

  • Excelled in academics

  • Transformed into a confident student

  • Won a state-level competition

Her win wasn’t just hers—it became a shining example for her peers.

Breaking Barriers, Building Dreams

Deepika’s journey is proof that:

  • Talent, when nurtured, has no limits.

  • The right support can change everything.

  • Education is the most powerful tool for transformation.

Deepika’s story proves that the right support changes lives. Will you help create more success stories like hers? Donate today and be part of the change!
