Dear Friends, 

I have been a Vibha volunteer for nearly 20 years. Vibha is a volunteer-driven organization with the sole purpose of breaking up the cycle of poverty by transforming the education system so that every child gets the opportunities he or she deserves. While Vibha has already impacted 4.8 Million children so far, hundreds of millions of children are still deprived of the opportunities they deserve.

In India, 131 Million children attend Government schools. Unfortunately, 70% of the children are not performing at their grade level. For example, 70% of children in Grade 5 cannot read, write or do basic math even at a Grade 2 level! If we transform public schools in India, we can truly make a difference in the lives of children from disadvantaged communities and give them a chance to succeed in life.  

$100 funds Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programs in 1 rural primary school for 1 year impacting 2-5 government school teachers and 200 children between the ages 5 and 10 yrs. 

$10 funds Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programs for 20 children. 

We have a long way to go, and we cannot do it without support from donors like you.
