Fundraising for Vibha Atlanta Vibe 2020 Dancing For A Cause

Vibha's vision is to ensure that every underprivileged child attains his or her right to health, education and opportunity. Vibha educates, enables, and empowers individuals who wish to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged children. Since its inception in 1991, Vibha has supported more than 250 projects in India and 10 projects in the US. As a result, Vibha has been able to reach out to and provide opportunities for over 2.3 million underprivileged children. Currently, Vibha supports 30 projects in India and 7 projects in the US.

Samir and Mnesha grew up with different backgrounds and a small difference in culture, affecting our outlook as adults. However, the one thing we both shared is the passion to help others, especially when it comes to the need of a child.

Samir has been a part of Vibha since 2007, since his time at Georgia Tech. Vibha has always been a cause he made part of his daily life, and it extends into his character – giving to those in need. He is a biomedical entrepreneur, and co-founder of two companies, Clearside Biomedical and now Moonlight Therapeutics, which is focused on developing treatments for food allergies.

Mnesha became acquainted with Vibha after meeting Samir and learning more of the cause. Even though she has volunteered for numerous causes, her biggest charitable role-models to date are her parents, who have been helping children and those in need since as far back as she could remember. This was a part of her childhood and became an established part of her character. She is currently a Pharmacist with WellStar focusing on Oncology and Outpatient Infusions.

This year we are giving back to Vibha in a different way, through Vibha Vibe 2020.
Vibe 2020, Dancing for a Cause, is an exciting fundraiser for Vibha. Based roughly on the "Dancing with the Stars" TV show, this event features local celebrities, our “Stars”, in a dance face-off on the event night. The event will be held on May 17, 2020 at The Hotel At Avalon, in Alpharetta, GA.

Join us on our 10 week journey of challenging ourselves to learn to dance, put on a performance, increase awareness and raise money for a good cause. We ask you, our family and friends, for your encouragement and support. Every little bit helps.
