Sumit's Fundraiser for Underprivileged
Fundraising for Vibha India-Ray of Light
It's that time of the year again - time to raise funds for Vibha together, time to pledge to make a difference where our help is needed. I have been coming to you for a long time, to partner with me, to pledge with me. This holiday season, I pledge to raise INR 50,000 towards this year's annual drive - Ray of Light!
I have been Volunteering with Vibha for sometime now. And, I am able to do this because YOU have supported me through the years. And, I have seen first-hand the outcomes play out on the ground. I really appreciate what we have done together over the years. I hope that you will support me again this year.
This year, we want to increase our reach while continuing our impact across India. Vibha has extended their hands to setup Virtual classes(Laptops) for Rachana. I would like to raise fund for Infrastructure of these Schools.
Rachana reaches over 180 villages and hamlets in Haveli, Velhe, Junnar and Bhor Tehsils of Pune District, Maharashtra state, India, spread over a large hilly area.
Rachana Focus on Education:
Low educational attainment level ; children’s(especially girls) high school dropout percentage ; lack of integrated development education ;child rights awareness and implementation, absence of parents, women and community representatives’ participation in public education process.
Rachana Mission:
- Empower women and children to lead them on the path of sustainable development with focus on health and education areas.
Rachana Vision:
- Equal opportunities and equal rights for the under privileged communities .
Vibha enables and empowers ground level NGOs in improving the lives of underprivileged children across India. We have more than 25+ partners across the country that strive to improve the education, health and training needs of underprivileged children. In 2021, we hope to partner more with the local, state and central government agencies to make a long lasting sustainable impact. Towards this end, we are hoping to raise INR 30 lakhs through the Ray of Light year end drive.
This holiday season, partner with us and help us get to our target of INR 30 lakhs. Let's enable millions more children.
