In Hira's words:

Apart from learning Carnatic and Hindustani music, Bollywood music has always been a genre I've never stopped listening to. It brings me back to the days I listened to hindi songs in the car with my mom from the Bollywood movies we had watched earlier. The best feeling to me is the feeling of nostalgia, and that is what music brings to me.

What does this cause mean to her??

As a child, I undervalued my education and caught myself dreading going to school. However, I soon realized that not many children get the privilege of going to school like I did. I want to be a consultant, and I only know that because I have had the opportunity to spend the last 13 years in a classroom, learning from teachers who wanted the best for their students. I hope that all the children get a good education so they can gain the knowledge necessary to change the world as they please. Vibha is taking the steps to make that possible, which is why I am performing for this cause.

She wants to target educating atleast 5-10 kids- Encourage her/contribute to her cause - Did you know $17 is enough to educate an child for an entire year!! That is a cost of a pizza or lunch buffet - No amount is a small amount - help Hira get to her goal!!

Kite Flying Festival (KFF) is Vibha Dallas' flagship event. It is on Sunday, June 11 at The Sound, 3111 Olympus Blvd, Coppell, TX 75019. There will be Dance / Music Performances, Fashion Show, Food Stalls, shopping booths and of course Kite Flying. In the past, 5000 people have attended this event. All funds raised go towards supporting education for underprivileged kids. For more details, please click here.
