Fashionista Fiesta
Fundraising for KFF
Hello there,
We are walking the fashion show for Vibha -Talent For A Reason at the Kite Flying Festival on June 11th - come watch us.
We bring you Indo Western theme where we will display Indian clothes with a twist - You are sure to see the art of possibilities with what you can do with what you have in your closet once you watch us.
It is also an excellent opportunity for this group of moms, daughters, sons, dads, ladies to have some fun bonding time to display the Indian colorful diverse attire with some swag!!! And the cherry on the top - Staying true to fundraise for the core value of Vibha - Educate, Empower and Enable children through education.
In India the official numbers for learning outcomes are pretty dismal:
Only 1/4th of the students enrolled are at grade level in terms of math and reading skills,
Only 1/2 of all children surveyed can read and
Less than a 1/3rd can do basic arithmetic.
Did you know that $17 will educate a child for an entire year??
Vibha enables solutions to problems like these , constantly looking for scalable, sustainable and replicable models that can meaningfully address the root cause.
The efforts of Vibha currently empower almost 2.3 million children in India.
We want to also join in this movement to influence learning outcomes. We cannot do this without your support. No amount is a small amount!!
Will you join our movement and support us in our fundraiser?
