Fundraising for Atlanta Vibe 2018

Friends,  

I am excited to tell you that my wife (Gita) and I are participating in a dance competition called Vibe which is truly a fundraiser organized by Vibha Atlanta chapter.  Vibha strives to educate, empower and enable every individual who wishes to make a positive difference in the life of an underprivileged child.   I have been a volunteer with Vibha for a decade now in different roles including, Action Center Coordinator for several years.  My association with Vibha has given me immense satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment as I was able to make a positive difference in the life of an underprivileged child.  This year, I decided to achieve this goal in a different way...Dance Pe Chance.  That's right...fundraising by dancing!!   I am sharing my story with you and asking for your help and support so I can achieve my fundraising goal.  Thank you for your donation and help...really appreciate it!  

Here is some information about Vibha.  Founded in 1991, today Vibha has a volunteer network of 2200 volunteers spread across 18 Action Centers across the US and India. Vibe 2018, Dancing for a Cause, is an exciting fundraiser for Vibha. Based roughly on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ TV show, this event features local celebrities, our “Stars”, in a dance face-off on the event night. The event will be held on March 17th, 2018 at Cobb Galleria, Atlanta.

Our Stars comprise of successful entrepreneurs, global executives, media professionals and social & community leaders who in their unassuming ways have created a mark in our city and beyond. As they embark the journey towards the gala night, they will raise funds and awareness for Vibha’s mission.

It is heartening to see the awareness increasing around the importance of education among the lesser privileged society and Vibha’s core goal is to Educate, Empower and Enable children to remain motivated to receive the quality education they deserve – which is their birthright!

Be it a volunteer, donor, sponsor - Vibha’s patrons are the reason we are continuously successful in providing opportunities for these children to dream. Our journey is a long one but not unachievable because we know you are by our side! Let us work together to challenge every shortcomings and pave the way to a brighter future of children in U.S. and in India!
